What If We Made Space to Learn From Failure?

What if organizations made space not just to celebrate success, but to learn openly from failure?

That is the idea behind The Unfiltered Hour at Sasken, where team members come together to share real experiences, unexpected setbacks, and the lessons those moments revealed.

The premise is simple: some of our most meaningful learning comes from the things that didn't go according to plan.

Jones Loflin and I recently had the opportunity to participate as guest speakers. Drawing from stories in Juggling Elephants—and from our own missteps along the way—we shared a few lessons we've learned from getting things wrong, adjusting course, and continuing forward with greater clarity and intention.

I left impressed by an organization willing to normalize reflection, curiosity, and growth. Creating that kind of environment doesn't make people afraid to fail. It makes them more willing to learn.

What would happen if your team spent an hour talking honestly about what didn't work—and what it taught you?
